About the Author: I'm a Vietnam Veteran and retired 25 year Fire-Rescue Captain from NY who just happens to have a radio show called "The Captain's AMERICA." I was honored to have been a First Responder to the attacks of 9/11/2001 to the WTC in NYC. Even though I was injured, which forced my early retirement, my son carries on the tradition of service with the USMC.
